Lynn Seynour/Senour was a Seattle boat designer who started working in Seattle boatyards as a teenager and later became a naval architect. He designed the Nordic Tug as well as fishing vessels and yachts. His Marlineer design was specifically credited with helping open up the sportfishing industry in Mexico.
The name Marlineer itself was associated with Marlineer International. A federal appellate case involving another Marlineer-built yacht, the 62-foot Teddy Bear, gives us a window into the company and its activities. Marlineer International was involved in brokerage and yacht sales by the 1990s, and its president was Ted Tate.
